Hi, I’m Howard Price, a 38 year old lawyer, currently living in London.
In the near two decades that I’ve been working within the legal profession, I’ve handled thousands of cases. Some short and simple, others long and convoluted, and no two cases were ever the same.
But recently, I’ve noticed a very prominent trend… Horse Racing.
In the past 6 months alone,I’ve handled more than 20 cases to do with the horse racing industry.
And give that some context; before 2016 I’d NEVER handled a case to do with the equestrian industry in my entire legal career!
And it’s all to do with a new group of tipsters that appeared on the scene at around the same time.
Now, I can’t tell you too much about these cases as that would be a breach of confidentiality and I would get into BIG TROUBLE, but I can give you a rough idea of what’s been happening…
Over the course of several months, I was contacted by numerous UK bookies who were each looking to sue the aforementioned group of online tipsters.
Sometimes they were looking to sue one of the tipsters specifically, other times they were looking to take down the entire group. And the charges ranged from loss of earnings to hacking (leaking data and insider info) and even defamation!
